You're firedWho's company is this? The first note needs to be written with business format and less personalized. That was annoying to read.
I’m not cleaning with booties on.
That's two ...I’m not cleaning with booties on.
Yeah, what company is this?
I actually like it and it's mostly great policy, but the writing is disjointed and some of it is annoying to the point of eye roll inducing.

I just wanted to add, he’s doing 20k A WEEK IN RUGS.... most of us don’t do that in A YEAR.... ITS BETTER TO KEEP ONES MOUTH SHUT AND APPEAR TO BE AN IDIOT, THAN OPEN IT, AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT.....Trust me, the guy who owns this company is NOT an idiot. He runs one of the biggest rug cleaning plants in the area. He has a 10-12 truck operation, and is a lifetime cleaner.... I overheard him say that he is 58 years old. He has a hard surface division, and soft surface division. I personally wear booties on every residential job I do. I feel it shows respect to my clients, if anyone here doesn’t agree, you are welcome to your opinion.... Joe Appleby definitely IS NOT AN IDIOT... I only wish I could run a business as successfully as him...
Like I said Richard, everyone is welcome to their own opinion. I was NEVER allowed to wear shoes in the house growing up.... I NEVER wear shoes in my own house, so why the FOOK would I do it in a clients home?.... I feel it’s disrespectful, call it idiotic if you want, but I don’t feel that way...Joe isn't an IDIOT and I wouldn't call him one.
I said wearing booties when it makes no sense, it is idiotic. Respect for their dirty carpet. I don't understand how wearing booties shows respect. ???
We are in the process of cleaning. I can see at the time of an estimate, post cleaning, new carpet. But during cleaning? It makes no sense.
Well you know what they say Richard, opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one..... and on this subject, I don’t mind cause yours doesn’t matter....I agree we are independent businessmen and being independent we can run our businesses as we see fit. I would not call you an IDIOT either...Well not seriously.
I believe the wearing booties is a good idea for many service businesses. If you are a plumber, hvac technician, appliance repair it only makes sense not to track up the clients home.
However when we are there to perform carpet cleaning, wearing booties makes no sense. If we were to track up the carpet, we would clean it.
To do it because it makes the client feel better...what about the client that realizes it makes no sense. Hard to defend your reasoning, if asked.
We might get a call once or twice a year about if we wear them while cleaning. We explaining there is no reason to and they understand.
We will wear them when cleaning air ducts to avoid tracking and then needing to clean their carpet.
IDIOT!![]()
Yes but at least I'm not a dumbasshole! If I'm going to do something, I have a reason. Not just because some dumbasshole thinks it looks good.Well you know what they say Richard, opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one..... and on this subject, I don’t mind cause yours doesn’t matter....

It’s also a great way to carry in a couple scoops of defoamer if needed....I wear my booties on my head as a shower cap. Try it.
I wasn't trying to influence you. Do what you want to do, it's your business.I’m not calling you an a-hole, or an idiot.
Let’s just agree, to disagree on this...
